The Universities’ Apple Computer Group (UACG) and Apple Computer International are pleased to announce that Apple were successfully re-awarded the National Higher Education Agreement for the Supply (& Installation) of Microcomputers with Apple Operating Systems.

The 3rd agreement commenced on the 1st October 2011 and will run for a period of four years to 30th September 2015.

Apple’s selection as sole supplier came after a thorough and extensive tender and negotiation process, with HEPCW acting as the lead consortium, on behalf of the institutions that are eligible to participate in line with the guidance issued in the Users Guide. The overall management of the Agreement will be via the Universities’ Apple Computer Group (UACG) comprising representatives from various consortia and institutions to reflect UK regional Higher Education interests.
